Lesson II...
Finding The Strings - Pick Hand II
Once again, this is an exercise that concentrates on the pick hand. This is excellent for getting used to skipping over one string to get to the next. In no time you'll be able to do this in your sleep. Again, Repetition is very important here. Here are some things to keep in mind:
Once again build speed for this excercise by playing along with the radio once you have memorized the pattern. Keep at this excercise for a week or so as well or until you can play it flawlessly from beginning to end. Gradually increase the tempo and even once you move on to Lesson III, use this exercise as a warm-up. Always run through previous exercises before starting a lesson. Its good warm up and helps refresh your memory and what your goals are.
